Emmaus Group
There are two or three Emmaus courses each year to aid our growth as Christ's people.
As part of our preparation for confirmation, adults who wish to be confirmed are invited to explore the basics of the Christian faith. The six session course usually starts at the end of September or the beginning of October and is open to anyone who would like to think about the foundations of the Christian faith for the first time, or for regular church goers who would like to re-visit the basics of the faith. Details of the course will be available nearer the time in the parish magazine and on our website.
If you are interested in being baptised or confirmed please get in touch with us, we would be pleased to help you at this (and every) part of your journey of faith. This year the confirmation service for St. Mark, Worsley and St. Mary, Ellenbrook will be on Sunday November 25th 2007.
In Lent we usually run a 4 or 5 week course. Details of the topic and how to join the group will be available nearer the time in the parish magazine and on our website.
If possible we also run another course at the beginning of the summer (round about June/July). Again details of the course will be available nearer the time in the parish magazine and on our website.
