Welcome to the Parish of Worsley, part of the Diocese of Manchester.

Our Team is made up of 3 churches; St Mark's in Worsley, St Mary's in Ellenbrook and St Andrew's in Boothstown.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Revd Adam Whittle as Team Rector of the Worsley Team and incumbent of Holy Rood, Swinton to be held in plurality.

Adam is currently serving his curacy at Christ Church, Pennington.

The date of his institution is still to be arranged.

Adam Says: "Laura and I are delighted that we will be joining the Worsley Team and Holy Rood. I am really looking forward to moving into the area, getting to know you and working with you as together we do the work of God and make him known to our communities.  Please keep me, Laura and our children, Sebastian and Hannah in all your prayers as we prepare for this new stage in our lives."

Supporting St Marks:

In these uncertain times, it is important that we try to keep the church on a sound financial footing so that we can be here to serve the community even when the building itself is not open. We still also need to maintain the fabric of such a historic building.

Safeguarding is important to all our churches in the Worsley Parish. We aim to create safe environments, where children and young people are nurtured and protected; and where all people, and especially those who may be vulnerable for any reason, are able to worship and pursue their faith journey with encouragement and in safety. For more information and contacts please see our safeguarding page.
